Administrative Assistant (Healthcare Clinic)

Forest Heights Chiropractic, Physiotherapy & Wellness Centre – Edmonton, AB

Part-time | $17–$19/hour

Job Summary

Forest Heights Chiropractic, Physiotherapy & Wellness Centre is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our busy chiropractic and wellness clinic. This role is best suited for someone with prior clinic experience who can confidently manage front desk operations, patient interactions, and billing in a fast-paced healthcare environment. We would prefer someone with experience using the Jane App (Jane billing and scheduling system). Their job duties would also include communicating with motor vehicle insurance adjusters and assisting in the case management of WCB and motor vehicle cases.

Schedule

  • Mix of days & evenings and possible weekend coverage
  • 25-30 hours per week

Compensation

  • $17–$19 per hour, based on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and check in patients in a professional and welcoming manner
  • Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage emails
  • Process payments and complete insurance/billing entries
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
  • Support chiropractors and physiotherapists with administrative needs
  • Communicating and following up with MVA and WCB adjusters
  • Case management with MVA and WCB cases
  • Keep reception and clinic areas clean and organized
  • Assist with patient flow to ensure efficient clinic operations

Qualifications (Required)

  • Minimum 1 year of administrative or front desk experience
  • Experience using the Jane App (Jane billing and scheduling system)
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy setting
  • Comfortable using computer-based scheduling systems
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional

Qualifications (Preferred)

  • Experience working in a chiropractic, physiotherapy, dental, or medical clinic
