Sunset Manor in Innisfail is now accepting applications for a full-time Administrative Assistant (Bookkeeper).

Duties include but are not limited to:

· Performs clerical tasks, variety of confidential secretarial and bookkeeping tasks.

· Maintains employee documentation and performance reports.

· Receives, sorts, and distributes incoming mail.

· Codes and sends supplier invoices to accounting for payment.

· Purchases office inventory, forms, books, and office supplies when requested.

· May backfill the Receptionist, greet families and clients, and answers the telephone and routine inquiries. Refers calls and takes detailed messages as required.

· Completes admission forms with resident’s families/responsible parties

· Assists managers in preparing new staff Hire Packages. Helps orientate new staff to facility procedures.

· Makes workplace safety a priority.

· Coordinate timecard information for union staff and uploads payroll data to Head Office Payroll dept for processing.

· Coordinate benefit applications for staff with Head Office Payroll and Benefits Dept.

Qualifications:

· Any accounting data entry or bookkeeping experience would be highly valued.

· Must have excellent English written and oral communication skills.

· Graduated from a recognized administrative or secretarial program an asset but experience is considered.

· You type more than 35 wpm and are proficient with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, and Outlook an asset.

· Must be able to secure a clean criminal record check.
