Full job description

We require immediately, a "customer service driven" company representative, to drive our flat-deck delivery truck. This job entails making deliveries of steel, gas and other parts to customers around the Squamish area as well as occasionally filling in with runs to Vancouver. Candidate will need to pass a Transportation of Dangerous Goods course and will need air brake endorsement.

Chosen candidate will be responsible for:

  • correctly and safely securing loads and ensuring the load matches the delivery invoice details exactly prior to departure.
  • Maintenance of the vehicle with pre-trip checks, reporting maintenance/repair issues using the correct procedures and overall keeping the vehicle in good condition
  • ensuring paperwork is signed upon delivery and any returns are dealt with appropriately
  • Any other jobs as designated by management.

Organizational skills, attention to detail and a strong body, as well as a Drivers license with air brake endorsement and a clean abstract are required.

Pay schedule will reflect candidates offered experience, attitude and work ethic.

This job is a permanent full-time position. With over-time.
