Turn Your Passion for Travel into a Dream Career — Explore the World with Goway!

Do you live for passport stamps, hidden gems, and perfectly planned adventures? Are you the go-to travel expert in your circle — the one who always knows where to go, what to see, and how to get there in style? At Goway, we’re not just selling vacations — we’re creating once-in-a-lifetime experiences for curious, passionate, and savvy globetrotters.

As a Destination Specialist, you’ll join a global team that turns dream trips into reality — from African safaris to European getaways, and everything in between! You’ll bring your insider knowledge, love of travel, and customer-first mindset to craft custom itineraries that impress. If you're ready to combine your sales talent with your wanderlust, welcome aboard.

Job purpose:

Our Destination Specialists are expert travel advisors who design and sell tailor-made vacation packages for clients seeking personalized guidance and a seamless experience. Specializing in a specific region (North & South Europe and Cruise), you’ll use your destination knowledge, passion for travel, and booking expertise to create memorable trips tailored to each client’s interests. This role requires strong communication skills and confidence, as you will regularly engage with clients via phone and email to build trust and deliver exceptional service.

What are your key responsibilities?

  • Exceed sales targets by qualifying inquiries, engaging clients, and converting them into confirmed bookings through effective selling techniques and follow-up.
  • Ensure that all reservations are accurately processed in the booking system, managing administrative tasks such as documents, itinerary changes, and airline ticketing with close attention to detail.
  • Efficiently manage multiple client requests and timelines.
  • Uphold Goway Travel’s exceptional standard of service throughout all interactions.
  • Develop long-lasting connections with your customers, create referrals, and repeat business.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to ensure seamless travel experiences for clients.
  • Continuously expand your knowledge of the destinations you sell to provide expert guidance to clients.

What are we looking for?

  • A high-performing travel expert, travel advisor, or sales/customer service professional, specializing in luxury travel or custom tourism.
  • 3-5 years of experience in wholesale and retail, working with travel packages
  • A customer-first mindset, with a passion for travel and a sales-driven approach, motivated to meet and exceed business targets
  • Strong knowledge of Goway destinations. Has sold both 4- and 5-star tailor-made travel experiences, not just off-the-shelf packages.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, confident in engaging with clients by phone and email, with the ability to build trust and rapport.
  • Experience with various travel booking platforms (e.g., Amadeus, Salesforce, other GDS systems, and CRM tools) and Microsoft Office apps.
  • Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple requests and deadlines.
  • Adaptable and proactive, able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Post-secondary education in travel, tourism, hospitality, or a related field, along with TICO certification, will be an asset.

What can you expect from Goway?

Imagine working for a company where your career feels like an adventure. At Goway, you’ll join a global community that supports one another:

  • We offer a competitive base salary accompanied by uncapped commissions and performance incentives.
  • You’ll receive generous vacation leave starting at 15 days per year, paid personal days for life's unexpected moments, as well as your birthday off and volunteer days annually.
  • Your future matters to us, so we provide an RRSP matching program, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Our commitment to professional growth ensures that from day one, you’ll have access to continuous learning and industry-leading training that keeps you at the forefront of travel innovation.
  • Travel is in our DNA, so you’ll enjoy exclusive perks and discounts on getaways worldwide, as well as the opportunity to go on Familiarization Trips (FAM trips) to the exciting destinations you sell.
  • Since we operate across Toronto, Vancouver, Los Angeles, Manila, Sydney, and beyond, you’ll collaborate across cultures and shape a career path that reflects your ambitions.
  • Goway is an equal-opportunity employer. We celebrate differences and are committed to fostering an inclusive workplace for everyone. We appreciate every applicant’s interest. Please be advised that only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
