Currently we are looking for Emergency Medical Responders (EMR) with WorkSafe Advanced First Aid (AFA) Jurisprudence to work with Parkland Fire Team and PCP’s on site. Work will be conducted in a clinic setting. Shift details will be discussed during the interview. Applicants must be local to the Lower Mainland.

Qualifications

Must have:

· Valid EMR certificate with WorkSafe Advance First Aid Jurisprudence

· Minimum 1-year relative clinical experience required plus patient contact

· Must be willing to work on Continuing Education

· BC Ambulance experience a bonus

Responsibilities

· Perform emergency care for occupational and non-occupations injuries and illnesses

· Maintain accurate, complete and timely medical record documentation

· Conduct pre-shift health screenings

· Assist in the management of equipment and supplies

· Liaise with on-call medical professionals to ensure that injured workers receive appropriate and correct treatment if medical aid is required

· Maintain and safeguard confidentiality of employee health information and health records

· Assist with administering and supporting company Refinery Drug and Alcohol Program

· Complete on-site health and safety audits

· Act as a parament SME for fire protection personnel

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $24.75 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Work Location: In person
