Job Description:

Join AXA Partners as the Director of TPA and Cost Containment – Lead Innovation and Excellence in Travel & Medical Claims!


What you’ll be doing:


  • Oversee the strategic direction and operational excellence of AXA Partners' Travel and Medical TPA activities, including offshoring claims functions.
  • Lead a team of 4 department managers and indirectly manage over 50 staff, fostering a high-performance, customer-centric culture.
  • Develop and execute business plans and budgets aligned with global AXA transformation objectives, ensuring operational stability and growth.
  • Drive change management initiatives to boost productivity, improve service quality, and implement process improvements utilizing Lean methodologies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, intermediaries, and partners, supporting new service development and business opportunities.
  • Manage outsourced claims operations, ensuring contractual adherence, quality standards, and timely resolution of escalations.
  • Lead talent development, coaching, and transformational projects to enhance team capabilities and process efficiencies.
  • Support the assessment of new business ventures through feasibility studies, executive presentations, and operational planning.
What you’ll bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field; an advanced degree or insurance certifications are a plus.
  • At least 8 years of management experience, with a minimum of 5 years in direct client interaction within the insurance or assistance industry.
  • Proven success managing Profit & Loss and leading cross-functional teams in a global environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Deep knowledge of claims processes, cost containment, and TPA business operations.
  • Experience implementing Lean or similar process improvement methodologies to drive efficiency.
  • Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across departments and external partners.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with workforce management principles is preferred.
