Houseman – Full-Time, Permanent

Courtyard by Marriott Brampton is seeking a reliable, hardworking, and service-oriented Houseman to join our Housekeeping team. The Houseman plays an important role in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of the hotel while supporting Room Attendants and ensuring a positive guest experience.

What You'll Do

• Support Room Attendants with the cleaning and servicing of guest rooms and public areas.
• Deliver clean linens, towels, amenities, and housekeeping supplies to guest rooms and housekeeping areas.
• Collect and transport dirty linen, garbage, and other items safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping closets, storage areas, hallways, and service areas.
• Assist with cleaning and maintaining hotel public areas, including corridors, elevators, lobby areas, and back-of-house spaces.
• Assist Room Attendants with moving furniture, mattresses, rollaway beds, and other items as required.
• Respond promptly to guest requests for additional towels, amenities, linens, and other housekeeping items.
• Assist with deep-cleaning projects and periodic housekeeping tasks as assigned.
• Ensure housekeeping carts and equipment are clean, organized, and properly stocked.
• Report maintenance issues, damaged items, and safety concerns to the appropriate department.
• Follow proper procedures for handling lost and found items.
• Follow Marriott brand standards, hotel policies, and all health, safety, and security procedures.
• Work closely with Room Attendants, Housekeeping Supervisors, Maintenance, and Front Office teams.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Housekeeping leadership team.

What We're Looking For

• Previous hotel housekeeping or Houseman experience is preferred.
• Previous Marriott experience is considered an asset.
• Strong work ethic with a positive and team-oriented attitude.
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage physically demanding tasks.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, push, pull, and lift throughout the shift.
• Ability to safely lift and move housekeeping supplies and equipment.
• Must be flexible to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.

• Marriott experience: Preferred
