We are looking for a Pro Counter Clerk to assist the sales team members and the Pro Counter Manager. The clerk is responsible for various tasks related to customer orders (contractors): delivery, billing, payment, customer and supplier contacts, while providing the best customer service.

Role and responsibilities :

• Take care of product replenishment each morning;
• Ensure that the pro counter is clean and organized at all times;
• Order, receive and control inventory of Mapei & Schluter products;
• Train and answer questions from counter pro staff;
• Manage pro counter productivity (increase sales);
• Be responsible for the accuracy and management of counter pro inventory;
• Ensure accuracy of products purchased and manage interactions between customers and warehouse staff;
• Prepare stock replenishment list with predefined targets;
• Prepare invoices and perform administrative work (data entry, filing, etc.);
• Identify dormant products, prepare lists for marketing department with liquidation prices, product descriptions and quantities;
• Identify products that need to be returned due to quality problems; prepare lists for suppliers with product descriptions and quantities, and cost to be quoted for credit;
• Greet customers at the counter; handle the opening and closing of center doors;
• Respond to customer requests (invoicing, payments, deadlines, follow-ups, exchanges, etc.);
• Take orders by telephone or e-mail;
• Respond to requests and questions from the sales team (invoicing, inventories, file follow-up, supplier delivery times, etc.);
• Prepare customer orders: delivery, invoicing, payment, customer and supplier contacts.
• Perform any other related tasks.

Qualifications and education required:

• Minimum 2 years experience in customer service;
• Experience in hardware store, a plus ;
• Organizational skills and priorities;
• Solution and customer service oriented;
• Team player;
• Interpersonal skills;
• Knowledge of Microsoft office suite.

Schedule

• 5 days a week from Monday to Saturday with a day off during the week ;
• Available to work 40hrs per week.
