(Food Services Manager)

We are looking for experienced Food Services Managers for INK Entertainment Group. The head office is located at 144 Bloor Street West, 7th Floor Toronto, ON M5S 1M4 Canada. You may be required to work at other locations in the Toronto region.

Job Duties:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of INK Entertainment's restaurants and venues, ensuring smooth service and adherence to company standards.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise staff, including chefs, servers, and support personnel, ensuring they are well-prepared to deliver exceptional service.
  • Collaborate with culinary teams to plan menus, set pricing strategies, and introduce seasonal offerings that align with brand identity and customer preferences.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, order supplies, and negotiate with suppliers to maintain cost-effective operations.
  • Ensure that food preparation and presentation meet high-quality standards, conducting regular inspections to maintain consistency.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly, striving to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Enforce health and safety regulations, including sanitation and food safety standards, to ensure a safe dining environment.
  • Prepare budgets, monitor expenditures, and implement cost-control measures to maximize profitability.
  • Assist in planning and executing special events, private parties, and promotions, coordinating with various departments to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Develop and manage staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours and special events.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to promote menu items, events, and special offers, enhancing brand visibility and customer engagement.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, providing feedback and development opportunities to staff members.
  • Maintain records of sales, inventory, and staff performance, providing regular reports to senior management for strategic planning.

Prerequisites:

  • Education: Secondary School certificate
  • Experience & Skills: 2 years to less than 3 years in the food industry.
  • Language: English

Compensation:

  • Hourly Rate: $36.00 to $38.00 per hour for 30 to 40 Hours per week
  • Starting Date: As soon as possible
  • Terms of Employment: Full time and permanent
  • Benefits: 4 % Vacation Pay
  • Dental, Health care plan, disability and other benefits
