Full job description

Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Tim Hortons Team Member and become the heart of our fast-paced, customer-focused environment! In this role, you will deliver exceptional service by preparing food and beverages, operating POS systems, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create memorable experiences that keep customers coming back. Responsibilities

  • Prepare a variety of food and beverages according to established recipes and quality standards
  • Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Handle cash and credit card payments with precision, ensuring proper cash handling procedures
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and equipment following food safety standards
  • Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items when appropriate
  • Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and minimize wait times
  • Follow all food handling procedures to uphold safety regulations and ensure product quality

Requirements

  • Previous experience in TimHortons
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
  • Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, order accuracy, and upselling opportunities
  • Restaurant or food service experience is a plus but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is essential
