Algonquin Outfitters is looking for Host/Take Out Cashiers to join our team at Lake of Two Rivers Café and Grill in Algonquin Park for the 2026 Season! These seasonal positions have start dates Immediately and end dates in September and October.

Our Servers are key in helping to create a memorable and pleasant dining experience for guests to the Cafe and Grill. As a Host/Take Out Cashier you will, greet and take care of guests from the time they arrive to when they depart, ensuring satisfaction with the food and overall dining experience. This includes providing information for menu selections, helping to adhere to guest dietary needs and restrictions, ensuring responsible service of alcohol to guests communicating effectively with the kitchen staff, responding to guest concerns and feedback, pre-bussing of tables, maintaining a clean work environment and handling cash and electronic transactions.

What does it take to become a Host/Take Out Cashiers on the AO Team?

  • Previous experience in the Hospitality industry with knowledge of point-of-sale systems are considered a definite plus but if you are keen, we will train!
  • This location is licensed so Smart Serve Certification may be required.
  • We look for individuals who can work well within a team, creating a strong sense of teamwork and cooperation. You will have strong communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate guest’s needs and help your co-workers.
  • We need our team members to have open availability for all shifts.
  • This is a Server role so you will need to be on your feet for extended periods of time.

This busy summer Café and Grill is a great place to work if you like people as guests to the park come from all over the globe and many staff have developed long lasting connections through their work with us!

These jobs are ideal for individuals who are dependable, people oriented, and adaptable and thrive in a fast-paced environment. We are open seven days a week from May through October. Shifts consist of weekends/days/nights and can be offered on a full-time or part-time basis. We also welcome and encourage applications from individuals who are interested in returning to work for us each Summer Season!
