Full job description

Overview
We are looking someone who enjoy working outdoors in a professional and safe environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for tree care and landscape maintenance, along with the technical expertise to manage various tree-related tasks. As a part of our team you will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of trees in our care while providing exceptional service to our clients.

Qualifications:

  • A passion for nature, the environment, and the outdoors
  • Interest in working outdoors year-round in all weather conditions
  • Valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record
  • A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work on a multi-disciplinary team
  • Prior tree care, landscaping, forestry, or horticulture experience is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Assist & perform hedge trimming
  • Assist in tree trimming, pruning, and removal using appropriate techniques and equipment.
  • Work with ladders, occasionally drive truck and trailer
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition, reporting any repairs needed.

Skills

  • Experience in landscape maintenance practices, including knowledge of plant species and care requirements.
  • Familiarity with rigging techniques for safe tree removal or trimming operations is not a must but can be an asset.
  • Ability to operate a boom lift is not a must but can be an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to providing high-quality service in garden care.
