Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Sever to join our vibrant restaurant team! As a key member of our hospitality crew, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional guest experiences through friendly service, efficient food handling, and attentive support. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will help create memorable dining moments for our guests. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food service, customer interaction, and restaurant operations while working in a lively, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems, including Micros POS if available
  • Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
  • Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently maintained during food preparation and serving
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
  • Assist with basic food handling, preparation, and setup as needed to support kitchen staff
  • Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables promptly during busy periods
  • Maintain a clean and organized work station, adhering to sanitation protocols and food industry regulations
  • Provide excellent guest services by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction

Experience

  • Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated learners eager to grow in the hospitality industry
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus but training will be provided
  • Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor
  • Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and basic math for cash handling
  • Experience in food industry roles involving serving, cashiering, or food preparation is advantageous
  • Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Basic understanding of hospitality principles with a focus on guest satisfaction and upselling techniques
