Production Supervisor – Seasonal Contract

Dexterous Workforce is currently hiring a Production Supervisor for one of our food manufacturing clients in BC. This is a seasonal contract position starting as soon as possible and expected to run until the end of August.

The Production Supervisor will be responsible for supervising production, shipping, and sanitation teams, ensuring smooth daily operations, maintaining product quality, and supporting a safe and positive work environment.

Job Details

Position: Production Supervisor
Job Type: Seasonal Contract / Full-Time
Location: Abbotsford/Langle, BC
Contract Duration: Immediate start until end of August
Schedule: Rotating shifts, including possible evenings and weekends

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily production, shipping, and sanitation activities
  • Ensure production schedules are followed and daily targets are met
  • Monitor product quality and identify any quality or processing issues
  • Troubleshoot processing system issues and make adjustments as required
  • Support and guide workers during daily operations
  • Ensure all team members follow company policies, safety procedures, and food safety practices
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Complete basic administrative duties related to production and staffing
  • Communicate with management regarding staffing, productivity, quality, or safety concerns

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food production, manufacturing, warehouse, or supervisory role preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to supervise and direct workers in a fast-paced environment
  • Good organizational skills and ability to take initiative
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends if required
  • Knowledge of food safety, GMP, or production procedures is an asset
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to start as soon as possible
