Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Create and update product user’s manual, datasheets, case studies, white papers, quick starter guides, patent applications, technical articles, and other written content as needed
  • Collaboration with Teams:Correspond with our R&D and tech support teams to gather product information.Ask questions and clarify technical details with subject matter experts.
  • Develop andidentifya documentation process
  • Attention tosmall detailsto ensure documents adhere to brand guidelines and accuracy
  • Assistwith content material to ensure content is technicallyaccurate
  • Review and edit existing documentation for grammar, readability, and accuracy
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Research & Learning: Conduct research to understand the hardware and software side of the metering industry. Learn internal tools and platforms used for content creation and management.
  • Content Structuring: Help structure and organize content logically using headings, lists, and diagrams. Follow established templates and help improve them where necessary.Ensureall documents are searchable and accessible.
  • Ensure Occupational Health and Safety compliance with health and safety laws and regulations.
  • Follow all procedures in compliance ofAccuenergy(Canada) Inc standard policy and operation regulations.
  • Any other operation-related responsibilities may be added ascompanycontinues to grow.
Skills and Experiences:
  • Candidates with a background in electrical engineering will take priority.
  • Priorunderstandingof basic terminology such as Modbus, BACnet, THD, harmonics, and lead wiring is a huge asset.
  • Strong background in researching and understanding technical topics
  • Excellent written and oral communication isa must
  • Diligence and quality – attentionsmall detailssuch a grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting
  • Must be well-organized with the ability to balance simultaneous projects and deadlines
Other Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or other STEM relatedfield.
  • 2.5+years experiencewriting technical content
