We are currently searching for a Technical Sales Support person to join our team at Richmond office.

Job Summary:

The qualified candidates will be expected to support our customers technically. They provide creative problem solving, customer-centric solutions. This individual will prepare CAD Shop Drawings in a timely manner. Technical Sales Support will be friendly, and willing to initiate and engage with customers.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Utilizing AutoCAD and Solidworks in drafting of submittal drawings for commercial, high-end residential and industrial spaces
  • Collaborate with contractors, electricians, builders, architects, interior designers and lighting designers to ensure plans aligned with both design intent and technical requirements
  • Interface directly with both sales and engineering teams to determine feasibility of design to successfully achieve customers’ desired fit, form, and function.
  • Provide sales drawings, determine costs & lead times for special projects, attain performance thresholds
  • Working with Controls team to integrate new technologies such as smart lighting controls system, wireless sensors etc.
  • Advise clients on selecting the right fixtures and products based on aesthetics, functionality, and project goals
  • Prepare visual presentations and technical drawings to effectively communicate design concepts

Skills & Competencies

  • Ability to communicate with USA and Canada customers
  • Design Software: AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, Revit, Adobe InDesign etc.
  • Design Expertise: Lighting design, space planning, finish selections
  • Creative Skills: Hand sketching, concept boards, digital material boards
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment
  • Self-motivated; able to function effectively both independently and as a member of a team

Pay: $52,000.00-$72,000.00 per year
