Full job description

Be the Person Who Solves Problems, Supports Our Dealers, and Keeps Our Lifts Moving!
Do you love being the person everyone counts on when things need to get fixed quickly, confidently, and with a smile? Does the idea of using your technical background and mechanical savvy to troubleshoot real-world mechanical and electrical challenges excite you? We design and build lifts and elevators that improve lives. You become the expert our customers, dealers, and field teams rely on to keep those systems running at their best. If you enjoy technical problem solving, talking to people, and jumping in wherever you’re needed this is the role where you can shine.

What You’ll Do:

As a Elevator + Lift Support Specialist, you’re the central voice helping dealers, and installation technicians troubleshoot issues, install equipment, and keep jobs moving forward. No two days look the same and that’s exactly what makes this role exciting.

You will:

Be the friendly, knowledgeable voice supporting our dealers and our install team.

  • Handle inbound calls and emails with professionalism and confidence.
  • Provide guidance on installations, troubleshooting, and repairs —over the phone and using cutting edge AR remote support tools.

Be the technical lifeline for the field.

  • Support installation teams with real-time coaching.
  • Provide real time trouble shooting support when required.

Keep systems running smoothly.

  • Review and process parts orders.
  • Help create and document solutions to discovered issues to make support easier and more consistent.
  • Support continuous improvement by capturing incidents, documenting cases, and sharing insights when new modes of failure are discovered.

What You Bring:

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys talking to people and solving Electro-Mechanical challenges. You’re calm, patient, curious, and love digging into how things work.

If you have the below skills and qualifications already: Great! Don’t hesitate to apply if you are missing some. At RAM, we believe in lifting people up. We hire the right people and provide extensive on the job training.

You have:

  • A Technologist or Mechanic background working with Mechanical, Electrical, or Electro-Mechanical equipment or relevant experience in a similar role.

Mechanical aptitude: understanding drawings, components, troubleshooting basics.

  • customer service experience where communication and problem-solving were key.
  • Strong written and spoken English communication. Bilingual in French is an asset.
  • Knowledge of electronics, circuits, and component identification (an asset).
  • Experience working within a regulated and inspected environment
  • Knowledge of construction safety
  • Experience with lifts or elevators (a strong asset).
  • Familiarity with ASME A17.1/B44, ASME A18.1, CSA B355 an asset.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, and experience with ticketing systems (Freshdesk)
  • Strong teamwork, organization, and follow-through.

This is a mechanical & electrical support role, not an IT position.

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year

Language:

  • English (Bilingual French) (preferred)

Work Location: In person
