At Icarus-ORM, we are looking for smart, kind and talented people to join our operational risk management team. As specialists in facilitation, analysis and decision support, we consult for some of the world's largest oil and gas companies in the upstream, midstream and downstream businesses.

Occasional travel to clients facilities/offices and that otherwise, the position is remote work from home.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

  • Assist in Process Hazard Analysis consulting projects involving the design and engineering for existing and/or new chemical and process facilities
  • Contributing to content creation to the Process Safety Board community, Process Hazard Analysis Books
  • Community building activities on the Process Safety Board
  • Participate in development of technical safety policies, procedures, and work instructions
  • Work with project managers to coordinate meeting execution
  • Communicate with process engineers to understand relevant process parameters
  • Identify process design deficiencies and industry best practices
  • Leading and recording content from process hazard analysis meetings
  • Generating risk analysis reports
  • Providing strong decision leadership to clients
  • Preparing documents for risk analysis meetings with clients (e.g. reviewing engineering drawings such as Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams and Plot Plans)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00-$130,000.00 per year
