ABOUT THE COMPANY

We are expanding our global team and looking for an experienced IT Supervisor to manage our IT operations remotely from Canada. ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Supervisor to oversee our IT infrastructure and operations. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of IT professionals, ensuring the stability and security of our systems, and supporting our business objectives. You will work closely with our headquarters in the UAE and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality IT services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Team Leadership & Management

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of IT professionals across various locations
  • Assign tasks, monitor performance, and conduct regular performance reviews
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture

IT Operations & Infrastructure

  • Oversee the maintenance and security of IT systems, networks, and servers
  • Ensure high availability and reliability of all IT services
  • Manage system upgrades, patches, and backups

Security & Compliance

  • Implement and enforce IT security policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

  • Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to align IT services with business needs
  • Prepare and manage IT budgets

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend solutions
  • Drive innovation and efficiency across IT operations

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Several years of experience in IT management or supervision
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, and security
  • Experience with cloud platforms and remote work environments
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Effective communication skills in English
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet home office
  • Legal authorization to work in Canada
