Our Firm

Agentis Capital Advisors is a leading global financial advisor with a reputation for delivering unparalleled value and advice to its clients. The firm has been the recipient of numerous industry rewards in recent years, including 2024 P3 Awards Financial Advisor of the Year, multiple 2023 industry deal awards, Proximo Infra's 2022 North American Financial Advisor of the Year, and IJGlobal's 2022 Judge's Choice Award. Our guiding principles and ability to generate value for clients sets us apart. Agentis acts as a sell-side and buy-side advisor on a wide variety of global transactions including renewable power, energy, digital, transportation, and public-private partnerships. Our clients include leading infrastructure funds, pension funds, contractors, and governments.

Agentis Capital Advisors is a business segment of Agentis Capital Partners, which operates a synergistic platform across four main business segments: Agentis Capital Partners (principal investments), Agentis Capital Advisors (financial advisory and asset management services), Agentis Capital Mining Partners (mining advisory), and Agentis Capital Markets (capital markets).

The Opportunity

The Business Operations Analyst will be responsible for collaborating with the Operations team and senior leadership to help the company achieve its business objectives, execute on improvement initiatives, and fulfill key operational activities. You will work closely with the firm’s Operations team daily, with a focus on supporting the firm’s recruitment and talent management operations, and will use and help build the firm’s AI tooling across these processes. You will be an important member of a professional team and will be instrumental in shaping the culture and success of the firm.

The role requires strong judgment, a high level of ownership, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while communicating clearly and consistently with stakeholders. The role is designed to grow: as you develop, the intent is that you assume increasing ownership of the business systems and processes you run.

The Business Operations Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

  • Designing, building, and maintaining AI-assisted workflows and automations across the firm's core business processes

  • Building and maintaining internal tools, automations, and business systems that improve how the firm's core processes run

  • Supporting the firm's recruitment team with recruitment operations, candidate communications, assessment coordination, and timely follow-ups

  • Keeping recruiting systems and data up to date (e.g., the ATS), with accurate stages, notes, and score capture, and supporting weekly recruiting reporting

  • Supporting talent sourcing activities and candidate outreach in collaboration with the hiring lead

  • Coordinating onboarding and offboarding logistics and documentation, and maintaining organized employee records

  • Supporting the development and management of internal and external communications

  • Preparing reporting materials and updating management on the status and performance of operational initiatives

  • Supporting business development production and broader team operations with remaining capacity

Your Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a competitive field, preferably commerce, management, finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience

  • Relevant experience is a plus, in areas such as recruiting operations, automation or systems work, or other coordination-heavy roles

  • Demonstrated fluency with AI systems and tools, and comfort using them in day-to-day work

  • Experience building with AI tools, such as automations, workflows, or small applications, is a strong asset

  • Experience with recruitment software suites is an asset

  • Familiarity with full-cycle recruitment and understanding of HR practices is an asset

  • Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives or projects, with strong organizational and prioritization skills

  • Ability to work in a team environment that requires high initiative, minimal supervision, and an ability to address shifting priorities in a high-pressure environment

  • Discretion and trustworthiness with confidential information, including candidate and personnel matters

  • Strong attention to detail

Position Type

  • Permanent, Full-Time

  • Start date: Immediate

  • Location: Vancouver, BC

Compensation Range: CA$72K - CA$75K
