About the Role

The Operations Support Specialist plays a key role in LYNKED’s day-to-day operational delivery. This is a hands-on, client-facing role responsible for ensuring reliable data delivery from IoT devices, fulfilling client data requests, and supporting users across the platform, health and performance of our communication gateways and field-deployed devices. You will be a critical link between our technology platform and the customers and partners who depend on it.

What You’ll Do

Client & Partner Request Fulfillment

  • Serve as a key point of contact for client-side stakeholders, providing clear and timely updates on data delivery status, service requests, and issue resolution.
  • Fulfill client requests for system data, audit records, and information exports from the IoT platform.
  • Respond to client and partner inquiries via ticketing system, email, phone, and chat with professionalism and accuracy.
  • Manage technical communications to facilitate prompt issue resolution and ensure a high standard of client service.
  • Supporting Meter Technicians in the field

HES, Gateways & Field Devices

  • Operate and monitor the Head-End System (HES) to track device connectivity and performance.
  • Support communication gateway health checks, troubleshooting, and escalation as needed.
  • Assist with field device monitoring, connectivity verification, and commissioning support.
  • Investigate and resolve operational issues involving cloud services, communication gateways, and metering hardware.

Documentation & Continuous Improvement

  • Maintain and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and internal technical documentation.
  • Identify recurring issues and contribute to preventive measures and process improvements.
  • Document root cause analyses and resolution steps to support team knowledge sharing.

Data Delivery & Operations

  • Ensuring accuracy of devices on HES
  • Monitor and execute scheduled data deliveries from IoT metering devices on a daily basis, ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment.
  • Retrieve and process data outputs at defined dates and times in accordance with operational schedules and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Support data automation workflows and ensure end-to-end data integrity across the platform.
  • Maintain daily logs of operational activities, data delivery statuses, and issue resolution procedures.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3-5 years of experience in an operations support, technical support, or similar role.
  • Familiarity with IoT systems, cloud platforms, or smart metering infrastructure is a strong asset.
  • Experience working with data systems, databases (SQL), or reporting tools.
  • Comfortable working with structured schedules and time-sensitive data delivery workflows.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills with close attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate technical matters clearly to clients and partners.
  • Analytical mindset with solid troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
  • Self-directed and effective working both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Experience with Linux environments is an asset.
