Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team. As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring that our guests have an outstanding dining experience while supporting the management team in achieving operational goals.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing restaurant operations, including staffing, training, and scheduling of team members.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
• Supervise and support staff in their daily tasks, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.
• Manage cash handling procedures, including processing payments and balancing cash drawers at the end of shifts.
• Assist in inventory management, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels to minimize waste.
• Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement strategies for improving service quality and operational efficiency.
• Ensuring adherence to drink recipes and responsible alcohol service.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is required; hospitality experience is preferred.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable dining experiences for guests.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is essential.
• Experience with cash handling procedures is preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective interaction with staff and customers.
• A positive attitude and a willingness to learn are essential traits for success in this role.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38.0 – 44.0 per week
