Full job description

We are searching for full-time and part-time caregivers for Neighbourhood Home Care Services' Autism Support Home. You will help assist in the development and supervision of children.

**SHIFT HOURS**:

  • Weekdays: 7am - 10am, 2:30pm - 9pm, 3pm-11pm
  • Saturdays & Sundays: 3pm-9pm, 3pm -11pm

Responsibilities:

  • Implement creative activities to assist with Child Development
  • Create a positive & nurturing environment
  • Perform caregiving tasks including cooking and cleaning
  • Interact with the children
  • De-escalate behaviors

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience working with Autism
  • Has training in High Behavioral needs and/or training with high medical needs
  • Passionate about working with children
  • Team Player

Requirements:

  • CPR & First Aid level C
  • Clean Criminal Record-Vulnerable sector
  • Food Safe
  • WHMIS
  • Must be authorized to work in Canada and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.

Shift Availability:

  • Part-time & Full-time
  • Must be able to work days and weekends.
  • 8 hour shifts

Bonus Skills:

  • PART Certificate
  • MANDT Certificate
  • Medication Administration Certificate
  • TLR- for high medical needs
  • Valid Driver's License

**SHIFT HOURS**:
