Job Summary

Duties

• Prepare high-quality sandwiches and food items following company recipes and standards
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations
• Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for accurate order processing and cash handling
• Manage cash register transactions efficiently while ensuring accuracy in cashiering tasks
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, addressing inquiries, and upselling menu items
• Supervise team members during shifts, delegating tasks and ensuring smooth restaurant operations
• Monitor food handling procedures to ensure safety and sanitation standards are met at all times
• Oversee inventory levels, restocking supplies as needed to maintain seamless service
• Enforce health and safety protocols to uphold food safety standards and sanitation practices
• Train new team members on food preparation techniques, POS operation, and customer service expectations

Experience

• Previous food preparation or food service experience preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus
• Experience with restaurant operations or supervisory roles is highly desirable
• Proficiency in using POS systems such as Micros POS for order entry and cash handling
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods
• Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
• Ability to perform basic math for cash transactions, inventory counts, and upselling opportunities
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and effective communication abilities
• Kitchen experience or serving background beneficial for understanding restaurant flow and guest needs
