Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Sandwich Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality sandwiches and food items in a fast-paced environment, ensuring excellent customer service and maintaining food safety standards. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in food preparation, customer interaction, and restaurant operations.
Duties
- Prepare a variety of sandwiches and food items according to company recipes and standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils, and equipment
- Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly during busy hours
- Upsell additional menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
- Handle cash transactions accurately and provide excellent customer service
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
- Follow all health regulations and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation or food service is preferred, especially within the restaurant or food industry
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and measuring ingredients
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety standards
- Experience in serving or cashiering roles is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
Pay: From $17.85 per hour
