At Prime Performance & Therapy, we're more than a high-performance training facility—we're a multidisciplinary team dedicated to helping people perform at their best. Our team includes Strength & Conditioning Coaches, Kinesiologists, Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, Sports Psychologists, and Registered Massage Therapists, all working together to provide an integrated approach to performance, health, and rehabilitation.

The Opportunity

We're looking for a motivated, growth-oriented Strength & Conditioning Coach to lead the development of our high-performance athletes, including professional, collegiate, and amateur competitors.

This role is ideal for an energetic, outgoing coach who leads by example, thrives in a team environment, and is passionate about helping others reach their full potential.

Start Date: August 3

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver individualized strength and conditioning programs for athletes.
  • Lead group training sessions, semi-private coaching, and one-on-one personal training.
  • Conduct performance testing and collect athlete data to evaluate progress and optimize programming.
  • Analyze and manage performance data using Microsoft Excel to create detailed client reports.
  • Collaborate with the performance team to develop new programs and continually improve our training services.
  • Maintain a safe, motivating, and professional training environment with an emphasis on proper technique and client well-being.
  • Build strong relationships with athletes, parents, and members while delivering an exceptional coaching experience.
  • Maintain flexibility to work mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, Human Kinetics, Athletic Therapy, or a related field.
  • Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) or equivalent certification (or willingness to obtain within six months of hire).
  • NCCP Olympic Weightlifting Certification or equivalent is considered an asset.
  • Minimum 2 years of strength and conditioning coaching experience.
  • Previous experience as an athlete and/or coach is highly valued.
  • Current First Aid and CPR-C certification.
  • Professional liability insurance.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data organization and reporting.
  • Successful completion of a Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check.

What We Offer

  • Competitive hourly wage: $25–$35/hour, based on experience.
  • Following the successful completion of a 3-month probationary period, the successful candidate will transition to a salaried position earning $56,000–$69,000 per year, based on experience.
