Operations Officer

We are childcare center located in Southwest Calgary. We are currently seeking a highly organized and professional Operations Officer to oversee our daily business functions and ensure the highest standards of operational excellence.

  • Location: #216 - 555 Strathcona Blvd SW, Calgary, AB T3H 2Z9
  • Wage: $37.00 – $38.00 per hour, depending on experience and skills.
  • Term: Full-time position

[Key Responsibilities]

  • Direct and control daily operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with provincial childcare regulations.
  • Manage administrative budgets, financial reporting, and operational costs.
  • Oversee human resources tasks, including staff scheduling, recruitment, and performance monitoring.
  • Coordinate government subsidy applications and handle complex administrative documentation.
  • Maintain professional communication with parents and stakeholders regarding center policies and services.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the center's service delivery.

[Qualifications]

  • Education: Completion of Post-Secondary College level in Business or a related field is required.
  • Work experience : Minimum 2years related work experience.
  • Criminal Record Check: A comprehensive criminal check from every country of residence since the age of 18 is required.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, financial literacy, and excellent verbal/written communication skills.
