Reports to: Department Leader, Inventory Control

Location: Arc’One, New Westminster

As an Inventory Control Associate you assist in all inventory related operations in the Distribution Centre. You work with a team of Supervisors, Department Leader and Associates to ensure deadlines and safety standards are met. You are quick, adaptable learner with excelled attention to details and you ensure the inventory count is accurate at all times.

If you were the Inventory Control Associate now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:

  • Monitors and maintains accurate inventory levels; track & investigate any internal inventory movement such as shipping/picking orders, receiving goods, replenish, put away etc. to resolve any inventory issues and maintaining an inventory integrity.

  • Compile inventory reports, recording the quantity, type and value of materials, and stock on hand, using manual or computerized inventory systems

  • Performs physical cycle count of inventory and reconciles actual stock count to computer-generated reports.

  • Performs Bin Denial confirmation in a daily base and resolve inventory issues as soon as possible.

  • Performs routine clerical duties, including data entry, uploading master data & fixed bin set up, following up emails and reporting daily work/performance to supervisor/team lead.

  • Guide or train new staff, temporary staff, and/or volunteers performing related work.

  • Cooperatively work with other teams for achieving DC KPI.

  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Are you our next Inventory Control Associate?

  • You have strong English verbal and written communication skills

  • You have previous experience or knowledge in an inventory control/audit role in a high activity facility.

  • You are proficient in learning and operating our ERP systems (SAP S4 Hanna / EWM)

  • You have a systematic way in performing inventory audit counts and creatively solving inventory gap issues and are proactive in identifying root cause of issues and developing solutions.

  • You are willing to share your knowledge and train other team members.

  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office platforms (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • You are able to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines

  • You have the physical ability to handle objects weighing up to 50 lbs.

  • You have the ability to operate various machineries such as order picker, high reach truck and walkie as and when required.

$22.40 - $23.80 an hour
The starting pay for distribution workers is CAD$22.40 hourly at the time of this posting, with a reasonable estimated pay range of CAD$22.40- $23.80 within 12 months upon skill assessment.
Please note that the range details above reflect the base pay only and does not include our competitive bonus program and benefits that we offer.
