Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Automotive Parts Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in inputting and managing inventory, locating inventory for processing orders to ensure the smooth operation of our parts department. This position requires strong organizational skills, computer and tablet skills, lifting and carrying automotive parts up to 50lbs, and a solid understanding of car parts within the automotive industry.

Responsibilities

  • Inputting automotive parts for inventory using Powerlink software system
  • Managing automotive parts inventory with accurate stock counts using Powerlink.
  • Process incoming and outgoing automotive parts shipping and receiving tasks, such as assisting drivers with daily deliveries and returns.
  • Collaborate and support Parts Manager and Sales team to ensure smooth operation of automotive inventory.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to parts availability.
  • Maintain organized records of inventory transactions, including data entry into PowerLink system.
  • Support warehouse management activities and tasks when necessary..

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of automotive parts.
  • Daily automotive parts shipping & receiving duties.
  • Excellent organizational skills and polite office demeanour.
  • Strong computer data entry skills with attention to detail for accurate record keeping.
