Full job description

Some of what you will do:

Lead the operational backbone that makes enterprise planning and promo execution run reliably week to week. This role owns the merch ticketing/mailbox system, UAT and release readiness, IT enhancement intake for Merchandising, and the day-to-day execution of coupons and promo across all channels. The Manager ensures execution consistency, reduces errors, and accelerates speed to market — while building the scalable process maps and standard operating models that let the broader team scale.

Specifically, You Will:

  • Own, maintain and improve enterprise calendar updates.
  • Support the development and execution of annual, quarterly, and seasonal business plans.
  • Monitor progress against business objectives and escalate risks.
  • Assist with forecasting and scenario planning.
  • Lead cross-functional alignment across Merchandising, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Store Operations to ensure readiness.
  • Own UAT, pre-sale validation, and release readiness for Merchandising systems and tools.
  • Drive IT enhancement requests and system improvements on behalf of Merchandising.
  • Build and maintain scalable process maps and standard operating models.
  • Manage coupon execution, reporting, and update terms and conditions.
  • Manage and develop a small team of execution coordinators/analysts.

Some of what you need:

  • Post secondary education, preferably in Business Administration.

  • Strong knowledge of merchandising operations, promotional execution, and retail processes.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop SOPs, process maps, and standardized operating procedures.

  • Experience with UAT, system releases, and promotional/coupon platforms.

  • Minimum of 4+ years of progressive merchandising experience.

  • 3-5 years previous management experience.

Physical demands/working conditions:

  • Office environment – Hybrid, with 4 days onsite in Richmond Hill, subject to the hybrid policy
