Overview

We are seeking a compassionate, experienced and dedicated ABA Therapist to work with our 3-year-old son at home. Our primary goal is to accelerate his speech and language development, with a strong emphasis on spontaneous communication, vocabulary expansion, sentence formation and conversational skills.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with young children with speech and language delays and will use engaging, play-based activities to encourage meaningful communication.

Duties

Implement individualized, speech-focused ABA therapy plans to improve expressive and receptive language.

Encourage spontaneous speech, independent requests and functional communication.

Develop vocabulary, sentence formation and age-appropriate conversational skills.

Use imitation, repetition, interactive play and structured activities to promote language development.

Improve the ability to answer questions, initiate conversations and engage in back-and-forth communication.

Encourage social communication, joint attention and interactive play.

Collaborate closely with parents and speech-language professionals to establish clear goals and monitor measurable progress.

Provide parents with practical strategies to reinforce speech and language development throughout daily routines.

Skills and Qualifications

Previous experience providing ABA therapy to preschool children with speech and language delays.

Strong background in speech and language development, early childhood intervention or special education.

Experience implementing communication programs developed by speech-language pathologists is highly desirable.

Strong understanding of naturalistic, play-based approaches to language development.

Excellent communication skills, patience, creativity and the ability to motivate young children.

Ability to establish measurable communication goals and provide regular progress updates.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00-$60.00 per hour
