Full job description

kcs Association is seeking caring, energetic, and reliable casual/part-time support aides to work with children and adults with disabilities in respite and community settings. This rewarding role focuses on building meaningful connections while supporting individuals to participate in fun, engaging activities both at home and in the community. Staff will have opportunities to get outside, explore parks and recreational settings, encourage social development, and make a positive difference in the lives of children, adults, and their families. Ideal candidates are compassionate and patient while being passionate about helping individuals thrive while creating supportive and memorable experiences. We are looking for someone with the availability to work days, after school hours, evenings, and the occasional weekend. Preference will be given to candidates located in Sylvan Lake or those who live nearby (within 30 kilometers).

Preferred Qualifications/Qualities - Value and respect for the diversity of individuals - Good communication skills - Previous experience working with children/youth/adults with disabilities.

Required: - 18 years or older - Criminal record check and Child Intervention check - First Aid and CPR certification - Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle and appropriate insurance. Wages are dependent upon experience and training/education.

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
