Anipet Animal Supplies is a leading Distributor of Pet Food and Supplies that has been family owned since 1977. We are currently seeking an experienced Material Handler to join our team in our South Surrey Freezer warehouse. We are passionate about our people and our mission of Inspiring Leadership and Building Community within our team and among our customers.

Full Time Position Available

We Offer:

· Day Shifts Mon-Fri; we are open from 7:30am - 4:00pm.

· Starting rate $20.00 per hour, plus a $2 per hour freezer premium = $22.00 per hour.

Ideal Candidate:

· Distribution experience would be an asset however full training will be provided

· Accustomed to working in -18 temperatures (Freezer located within the warehouse)

· Forklift, reach truck and electric pallet jack experience an asset. Training will also be provided.

· Ability to lift 40lbs. comfortably is a requirement

· Energetic and highly organized

· Strong team player

· Problem solving abilities

· Good communication skills

Responsibilities:

· Picking, Receiving, Stocking, Loading and Unloading in our freezer location

· Order preparation including packaging, skid building, wrapping and processing paperwork

· Meeting and exceeding daily performance targets

· Operation of materials handling equipment including reach truck and electric pallet jack

· Use of warehouse scanning software and inventory management software

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
