Overview

We are seeking a certified and dedicated Cardiac Sonographer / Echo Technician to join our healthcare team at Shukla Cardiac Center. This role will be responsible for performing 2D Echo. Previous experience of Contrast Echo and IV insertion is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality 2D transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) with precision and attention to detail.
  • Responsible for ensuring patient identity, safety, and privacy.
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining the process and ensuring their comfort.
  • Analyze images for clarity, accuracy, and completeness.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, findings, and patient information in accordance with clinic protocols.
  • Ensure all equipment is properly maintained, cleaned, and calibrated according to safety standards
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and patient safety guidelines at all times

Requirements/Experience:

  • Candidates must be ARDMS or CARDUP certified (registration with CMRITO is required).
  • Prior experience performing cardiac ultrasound procedures is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level candidates willing to learn on the job.
  • Strong technical skills with ultrasound equipment and image analysis capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
  • Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to healthcare regulations.

Pay: $65,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
