Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Rigistred Social Worker (RSW) to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting individuals and families by providing emotional support, resource coordination, and advocacy. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the community, working closely with diverse populations, including children and individuals with disabilities. The role requires a strong commitment to client well-being, excellent communication skills, and the ability to navigate complex social systems.

Responsibilities

  • Assess clients’ needs through interviews and evaluations to develop personalized care plans
  • Provide counseling and emotional support to individuals and families facing various challenges
  • Connect clients with community resources, healthcare services, and support programs
  • Advocate for clients’ rights and assist with navigating social services systems
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers, educators, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support
  • Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, progress notes, and case records
  • Participate in team meetings and ongoing training to stay current on best practices in social work
  • Support clients with disabilities or children by developing tailored intervention strategies

Skills

  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable
  • Experience working with children is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build trust with clients from diverse backgrounds
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy, patience, and professionalism
  • Excellent organizational skills for managing case files and documentation
  • Knowledge of social service resources, community programs, and relevant laws or regulations
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development in social work practices

Pay: $45.00-$52.00 per hour
