Worley Canada Construction is seeking a Junior Project/Construction Coordinato r to work with our team in Calgary.

The full-time Project Coordinator supports the Project Manager, Construction Manager, Engineering Manager, and Commercial/Supply Chain Manager in executing the integrator mandate. The role ensures disciplined coordination, communication flow, and data management across all project workstreams, acting as a central administrative and execution support function within the Project Integration Team (PIT)

The Project Coordinator enables efficient, transparent, and structured execution by:

  • Ensuring information flows are centralized, traceable, and aligned
  • Driving accountability through action tracking and follow-up
  • Reducing coordination gaps between project participants
  • Supporting timely decision-making through organized data and communication

Responsibilities:

PMT Coordination Support

  • Support coordination across the integrator interfaces.
  • Assist in preparation and tracking of PIT actions, decisions, and follow-ups.

Communication & Information Management

  • Maintain centralized communication tracking and support the integrator’s role as the single information hub.
  • Coordinate distribution of key project communications, reports, and updates across stakeholders.

Meeting & Governance Support

  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate cross-functional.
  • Capture minutes, actions, and decisions, and track them through to closure.

Data & Document Coordination

  • Support maintenance of key project registers (action logs, communication logs, decision logs).
  • Assist in document control coordination and ensure alignment with project data systems and reporting requirements.

Execution Support to Functional Leads

  • Provide day-to-day administrative and coordination support to the PM, CM, Engineering Manager, and Commercial Manager.
  • Assist with preparation of reports, presentations, and decision support materials.

Core Deliverables

  • Meeting Outputs - Weekly coordination meeting schedules, agendas, minutes, and action logs.
  • Action & Decision Tracking - Centralized action log with assigned owners and status tracking; Decision logs supporting PMT governance.
  • Reporting Support - Inputs to weekly dashboards and monthly progress reporting packages.
  • Communication Management - Distributed project communications and maintained stakeholder contact list.
  • Data & Document Coordination - Maintained records supporting project registers (actions, communications, decisions).
  • Administrative Support - Prepared presentations, summaries, and coordination materials for PMT and sponsors.

  • Experience working within the industrial construction industry is an asset but not required.

  • Ability to recognize risks and opportunities to a project and analyze them, determine associated costs, impact to schedules and creating mitigation plans.

  • Ability to establish a good working relationship with many different people, including owners, other managers, designers and supervisors.

  • The ability to succeed under strict timelines.

  • The ability to work in a busy team environment.

  • Great attention to detail and the ability creatively solve problems.

  • Experience working in both the subcontractor and general contractor side of a project, focusing on project controls and general coordination.

  • Ability to plan and organize construction activities.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications:

  • Certificate/diploma/degree in a project/construction/engineer related field

  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office programs

  • Field Project Coordinator experience with Construction Contracting company in Oil and Gas project is considered an asset but not required.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Able to work under pressure on complex issues across multiple projects

  • Must have a reliable means of transportation.
