Full job description

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Representative to join our team in Ottawa East. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth through customer acquisition and retention. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about sales and design.

A day in the life of

  • Greet and assist customers to help find the best flooring suited for them.
  • Inform customers of the proper use and care of flooring.
  • Generate sales leads, initiate prospective calls and establish ongoing rapport with existing customers.
  • Stay informed of the latest flooring products and emerging industry trends.
  • Provide customers with quotes, discuss credit terms, and prepare sales invoices.
  • Measure customer spaces to determine how much product is needed.
  • General warehouse assistance during quiet times (cleanup, assisting clients with purchases, unloading/loading materials, etc.)

What we need from you

  • Previous retail sales experience is preferred, knowledge of the flooring industry is a plus.
  • Possess basic mathematical and reading skills.
  • Goal-oriented and driven to reach targets.
  • Self-motivated to excel in your role and career.
  • Retail sales experience (preferably flooring) required.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • High energy and passion.
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license.
  • Required to work 40 hours per week.
  • Required to work on Saturday, holidays, and evening hours.
