Full job description

Server – Skeena River Lodge

Location: Terrace, BC
Position: Seasonal Server

Skeena River Lodge is seeking a friendly, professional, and reliable Server to join our lodge team. This is a guest-focused position suited to someone who enjoys providing excellent hospitality and working as part of a close-knit team in a unique lodge environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide warm, professional, and attentive service to lodge guests
  • Set up, serve, clear, and reset the dining room for dinner service
  • Provide food, wine, cocktail, and beverage service
  • Assist with après service and other guest service as required
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room, bar, and service areas
  • Communicate closely with the kitchen to ensure smooth and timely service
  • Assist with stocking, glassware, dishes, garbage, recycling, and closing duties
  • Respond to guest requests professionally and promptly
  • Support the lodge team with additional operational duties when required

Qualifications

  • Previous serving or hospitality experience preferred
  • Strong communication and guest-service skills
  • Professional, positive, and team-oriented attitude
  • Reliable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Serving It Right certification required
  • Wine and beverage knowledge is an asset
  • Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Pay: From $26.00 per hour
