Service Advisor / Parts Advisor
Looking for More Than Just a Service Advisor
Automotive Unlimited is looking for an experienced Service Advisor / Parts Advisor to join our team. This position may also be a great fit for an experienced technician looking to transition off the tools while staying in the industry.
We're looking for someone who understands how a repair shop operates and has strong knowledge of automotive and heavy-duty vehicles. Experience quoting repairs, sourcing the correct parts, and communicating effectively with both customers and technicians is essential.
We're looking for the right person, not just someone to fill a position. If you bring the experience, knowledge, and attitude we're looking for, we’re prepared to compensate exceptional skills accordingly.
Responsibilities
Proactive customer communication and service
- Scheduling appointments and managing repair orders
- Preparing estimates and repair quotes
- Ordering and verifying correct parts
- Coordinating with technicians and providing customer updates
- Assisting customers with accessories and aftermarket products
Required Qualifications
- Previous automotive or heavy-duty industry experience is required
- Strong knowledge of automotive and heavy-duty vehicles
- Experience accurately quoting repairs and sourcing the correct parts
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong computer skills, attention to detail, organization, and accountability
Assets
- Technician or parts experience
- Shop Boss or similar shop management software
- Class 1A licence
- Interest in trucks, overlanding, off-road, camping, or aftermarket accessories
