Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires a combination of driving expertise, warehouse experience, and strong communication skills to ensure timely deliveries and maintain high standards of safety.

Duties

  • Operate commercial vehicles to transport goods to various locations.
  • Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
  • Perform heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding delivery schedules and requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs for mileage and fuel consumption.
  • Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff to manage inventory and assist with moving products as needed.

Qualifications

  • Valid Class 5 License With Airbrakes.
  • Previous experience in commercial driving is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with team members and customers.
  • Experience operating forklifts is a plus.
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics processes.
