Park Fuels Ltd. is a trusted, family-owned fuel delivery company that has been serving Southern New Brunswick for over 80 years. We deliver furnace oil, propane, diesel and gasoline to residential and commercial customers throughout the region.

We are looking for a dependable and safety-focused Fuel Delivery Driver to join our team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced commercial driver looking for steady local work, competitive compensation, a comprehensive benefits package, and the ability to be home every night.

Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently deliver furnace oil, diesel, gasoline and propane to residential and commercial customers using single-axle and tandem delivery trucks.
  • Complete deliveries in accordance with all applicable transportation, TDG, safety and company requirements.
  • Provide professional and courteous service to customers at each delivery location.
  • Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and promptly report any vehicle or equipment concerns.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and general condition of assigned vehicles and equipment.
  • Complete delivery tickets, daily shift reports, trip inspections and other required documentation accurately.
  • Work closely with dispatch to maintain efficient routes and meet scheduled customer deliveries.
  • Follow established procedures for the safe loading, transportation and delivery of petroleum and propane products.
  • Work safely in varying weather and road conditions throughout the year.

Qualifications

  • Valid Class 3 driver's licence with air brake endorsement.
  • Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience preferred.
  • Clean and acceptable driver's abstract.
  • Strong commitment to safe driving and safe work practices.
  • Dependable, punctual and able to work independently.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • First Aid, WHMIS, TDG and CPI certification will be required and can be provided by the company.
  • PTO-1 Propane Truck Operator certification is considered an asset.
  • Previous fuel or propane delivery experience is considered an asset.
  • Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including handling delivery hoses, repeatedly entering and exiting the truck, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
