Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated/physically fit individual to join our team. The position requires heavy lifting, using small hand tools and saws, organization skills and a clean driving record.

Duties

  • Assist with loading, unloading, and organizing stock within the warehouse using proper moving techniques and equipment.
  • Load and Deliver finished wood products and stairs to construction sites.
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after deliveries to ensure safety and compliance with transportation regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and inventory movements for tracking purposes.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and customers to coordinate schedules, resolve issues, and ensure satisfaction.

Skills

  • Experience in warehouse operations, including moving heavy items safely and efficiently.
  • Some experience with hand tools and saws.
  • Valid driving license with a clean driving record for delivery routes.
  • Proficiency in operating forklifts or willingness to obtain certification upon hire.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
  • Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks regularly.
  • Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and interacting with customers.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and best practices for moving and handling goods.
  • Fluent communication in English is required.
