JOB SUMMARY:
The NetSuite Service Delivery Consultant is a techno-functional responsible for the successful design, implementation, optimization, and delivery of NetSuite ERP solutions for clients across a variety of industries, with a particular focus on manufacturing and distribution environments.
This role combines deep business process expertise with strong technical capabilities to deliver scalable and transformative ERP solutions. Acting as a trusted advisor to clients, the Consultant leads complex implementation initiatives, translates business requirements into practical system designs, and provides strategic guidance throughout the entire project lifecycle.
The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience delivering end-to-end NetSuite implementations and a strong understanding of manufacturing operations, including planning, production, inventory management, procurement, and financial processes. In addition to functional expertise, this individual brings hands-on technical knowledge of NetSuite's back-end architecture, customizations, integrations, and SuiteCloud development capabilities.
This role requires a highly collaborative professional who thrives in a client-facing environment, mentors junior consultants, and contributes to the continuous improvement of delivery standards and methodologies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Solution Delivery & Implementation Leadership
- Lead end-to-end NetSuite implementation projects from discovery and solution design through deployment, stabilization, and post-go-live support.
- Facilitate discovery workshops to understand client business objectives, operational challenges, and future-state requirements.
- Conduct fit-gap assessments and translate complex business processes into scalable NetSuite solutions.
- Manage solution delivery activities across all project phases, including requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, training, deployment, and transition to support.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with quality expectations.
Manufacturing & Business Process Consulting
- Design and implement solutions supporting manufacturing and operational processes, including: Record-to-Report (R2R), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Design-to-Build (D2B), Plan-to-Produce (P2P Manufacturing), and Inventory and Warehouse Operations.
- Advise clients on process optimization opportunities and ERP best practices.
- Provide strategic recommendations to improve operational efficiency, visibility, controls, and scalability.
Technical Solution Design & Development
- Design and oversee NetSuite technical solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and architectural standards.
- Configure NetSuite components including roles, forms, workflows, dashboards, saved searches, and custom records.
- Develop and support customizations using SuiteScript and SuiteCloud technologies.
- Design and support integrations between NetSuite and external applications using APIs and middleware platforms.
- Provide technical leadership during troubleshooting, issue resolution, and solution optimization activities.
Client Advisory & Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as a trusted advisor to executive sponsors, project stakeholders, and business leaders throughout engagements.
- Communicate project status, risks, recommendations, and technical considerations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Support pre-sales activities, including solution demonstrations, workshops, effort estimation, and proposal development.
- Build strong client relationships that contribute to successful project outcomes and long-term partnerships.
Team Leadership & Practice Development
- Mentor and coach junior consultants on solution design, configuration approaches, and implementation best practices.
- Contribute to the development of delivery methodologies, templates, accelerators, and reusable assets.
- Promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement across the consulting practice.
- Stay current with NetSuite releases, SuiteCloud innovations, and emerging industry trends.
EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Accounting, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- NetSuite SuiteFoundation Certification.
Preferred
- NetSuite ERP Consultant Certification.
- NetSuite SuiteCloud Developer Certification.
- Additional manufacturing, project management, or integration-related certifications are considered an asset.
EXPERIENCE
Required
- Minimum of 5 years of NetSuite ERP implementation experience.
- At least 3 years operating in a senior techno-functional, solution architect, or implementation lead capacity.
- Demonstrated success leading full-cycle NetSuite implementations in complex enterprise environments.
- Proven experience supporting the following business processes: Record-to-Report (R2R), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Procure-to-Pay (P2P, Design-to-Build (D2B), and Manufacturing / Plan-to-Produce
- Strong client-facing consulting experience with executive-level stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent analytical, communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred
- Experience within manufacturing, distribution, food production, consumer goods, or related industries.
- Experience with data migration planning, cleansing, validation, and cutover activities.
- Experience participating in pre-sales solutioning activities.
- Working knowledge of SuiteAnalytics Workbook and RESTlet development.
