What you will do

• Prevent shoplifter theft by establishing a strong security presence
• Provide excellent customer service to our clients, customers and patrons
• Arrest and/ or detain shoplifters as required
• Escort trespassers away from client premises
• Perform safety and security duties with the highest standards of professionalism and integrity
• Complete incident reports for security purposes
• Respond to emergencies and escalate to law enforcement agencies as required
• Quickly respond to security and safety violations, property damage and alarms

The Ideal Candidate

• A Valid Security License
• A Valid Advanced Security Training Certificate (Asset)
• Experience with arrests and detainments (Asset)
• Retail security experience is highly preferred
• Customer service experience is required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must have your own black suit and tie
• Willingness to attend meetings and additional training to improve existing skills
• Ability to work without close supervision
• Must be willing and comfortable to stand and patrol for the duration of the shift

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
