Pay Rate: Starting at $20.60 per hour

About the Role

Securiguard is hiring Security Guards to join our team. In this customer-facing role, you will help maintain a safe and secure environment while providing exceptional customer service. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic setting where professionalism, communication, and teamwork are valued.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a visible security presence to help ensure a safe and secure environment.
  • Conduct regular patrols and routine site inspections.
  • Perform lock and unlock procedures as required.
  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and members of the public.
  • Monitor for safety and security concerns and respond in accordance with site procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors using two-way radios.
  • Complete accurate incident reports and daily activity logs.
  • Respond to incidents and escalate concerns when appropriate.
  • Follow site policies and standard operating procedures.

Qualifications

  • Valid BC Security Worker Licence.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work 8-hour shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Comfortable using two-way radio communication.
  • Strong observation and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to write clear and accurate reports.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional.
