Qualifications or Skills Required:

  • x2 Covid-19 vaccinations & a current vulnerable sector check are mandatory.

  • Experience working in an environment in the healthcare or hospitality industry and working knowledge of activation programs and mobility restrictions is considered an asset.

  • Empathy for and understanding of the needs of older adults and/or disabled, including persons living with dementia.

  • Ability to plan, organize, and and support the delivery of diverse services and special events

  • Successful completion of a CPR/First Aid certification (IF APPLICABLE).

  • Successful completion of Safe Food Handler's certification (IF APPLICABLE).

  • Successful completion of Smart Serve/ProServe certification (Ontario/Alberta, FOR MANAGEMENT ROLES).

  • A positive attitude
