Join Our Team at Eagle Nook Resort – Guest Services Positions for the 2026 Summer Season

We’re looking to hire the right person on very short notice! Due to our shared staff accommodation arrangements, we are currently seeking a female candidate for this position.

Eagle Nook Resort is a luxury fishing lodge located on 70 secluded acres in beautiful Barkley Sound on the west coast of Vancouver Island. Accessible only by boat, floatplane, or helicopter, our resort offers 15 guest rooms and two cozy 1-bedroom cabins.

Are you someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys variety in your work, and loves being part of a dedicated team? If you're ready for a challenge and passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences, we want to hear from you!

We are seeking positive, energetic and motivated individuals for our Guest Services positions during the 2026 summer season. Our staff is the heart of our resort, playing a key role in creating memorable experiences for our guests.

Why Join Us?

  • Diverse Responsibilities: No two days are the same! As part of our guest services team, you’ll rotate between various roles, from serving and bartending to guest orientations, dock duties, and fish packaging. This position keeps you on your toes.. there is always work to do!
  • A Beautiful, Remote Location: Work in one of the most breathtaking wilderness settings, only accessible by boat, seaplane, or helicopter. Eagle Nook Resort is nestled on the pristine west coast of Vancouver Island, offering a true escape for those who love the outdoors.
  • Make an Impact: As a member of our Guest Services team, you’ll be essential to creating a seamless and exceptional experience for our guests. Your hard work and dedication will directly contribute to their unforgettable stay.

Your Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

  • Guest Service: Welcome guests with a smile and assist with day-to-day needs, ensuring a smooth and memorable visit.
  • Food and Beverage Service (5-6 days a week): Serve breakfast, dock-lunch, and dinner, including bartending and dish duties.
  • Kitchen Hand (1 day a week): An opportunity to not be guest facing - you'll be helping our chefs catch a break by hopping on dishes and doing some prep work in the kitchen.
  • Dockhand Duties (1-2 days a week) : Help with dock operations, including guest arrivals and departures, catching boats and taking pictures, assisting with organization and packaging of fish, and cleaning.

Who We're Looking For:

  • Team-Oriented: Our small staff works and lives together, so a positive, can-do attitude is essential.
  • Hardworking and Flexible: Have a strong work ethic and can handle the physical and mental demands of working in a remote environment.
  • Reliable: Are self-motivated and capable of taking initiative and managing your tasks independently.
  • Ability to Commit to a Full Remote Season: This role is based at a truly remote fishing lodge. Candidates must be able to commit to the full season on site, as there are no opportunities to travel into town during this period.
  • Previous Experience: Preference will be given to those with prior serving and remote resort experience, but we welcome applications from motivated individuals who are eager to learn and contribute.

The Details:

  • Season: Mid-June 2026 – September 9, 2026
  • Accommodation: On-site housing provided, including all meals.
