Full job description

We are seeking an experienced Sushi Chef to join our team in Niagara Falls.

The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, efficient, and able to work well in a busy restaurant environment. This is a stable, long-term position with consistent full-time hours.

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing sushi, sashimi, rolls, and other menu items
  • Maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation
  • Preparing ingredients and managing sushi bar inventory
  • Following food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Keeping the sushi station clean and organized
  • Working efficiently with the kitchen and service teams
  • Assisting with opening and closing duties

Requirements:

  • Previous professional sushi preparation experience
  • Strong knife skills and knowledge of seafood handling
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately during busy periods
  • Reliable, responsible, and able to work as part of a team
  • Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Valid Ontario Food Handler Certificate is preferred

Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: Approximately 40 hours per week
