Position: Production Supervisor
Schedule: Full-time
Location: No.6 Rd

Reporting to the Senior Supervisor, the Production Supervisor’s primary role is to lead our people with the goal of exceeding requirements in employee safety, food quality & safety, regulatory compliance, customer service and employee engagement. Working as a team with fellow production supervisors, your sense of self-motivation and passion, along with a high sense of urgency to deliver on a wide array of priorities, will contribute to the overall success of the operation today and challenge the operation to a better tomorrow.

Today, we supply to retailers across Canada and into the US, while taking pride in producing our products with the same care and passion we began with. Summ! Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and lead up to 60 direct reports ensuring that safe work procedures and food-safety regulations are adhered to always
  • Manage multiple aspects of the employee experience including time and attendance, training, performance reviews, and conflict resolution
  • Create and manage an employee schedule that supports the attainment of production goals
  • Lead troubleshooting processes in production areas as required
  • Assist with the departmental continuous improvement process.
  • Other duties as assigned

Summ! Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of progressive experience in a manufacturing or commercial food production environment
  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Operations or related field preferred
  • Excellent inter-personal and communication skills with a collaborative problem-solving approach
  • 2nd language including Mandarin, Cantonese, Punjabi, Tagalog is preferred
