Job Summary

Property Maintenance & Safety Attendant

Full-Time | Abbotsford, Mission, Surrey & Vancouver

At HyLand Properties, your work has a meaningful impact. We're seeking a reliable, hands-on team member based in Abbotsford to help maintain safe, clean, and professionally managed residential and commercial properties across the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley.

What You'll Do

  • Maintain the cleanliness of buildings, grounds, and parking lots.
  • Remove garbage, debris, and abandoned materials.
  • Monitor safety concerns and respond appropriately.
  • Complete minor maintenance repairs.
  • Perform seasonal duties including light snow removal, salting, window cleaning, and light groundskeeping.
  • Complete inspections, reports, and documentation.

What You'll Bring

  • Experience in property maintenance, building operations, cleaning, caretaking, security, or a related field.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Basic computer and mobile device proficiency.
  • BC Security Workers Licence with Security Guard endorsement preferred.
  • First Aid and WHMIS Certification are assets.
